Planning Your Company Holiday Party

Whether you own the company, or you have been put in charge of the event, planning the company holiday party is no small task.  It can, in fact, be overwhelming and start to take over your day job.

In 2008, when economic times were not good for many companies, a lot of holiday parties were either cancelled all together, or drastically scaled down.  Even if company was one of the lucky ones that the economy wasn’t affecting too much, they scaled down their parties out of respect.  People had mixed feelings on this subject, but nonetheless, times were difficult and many companies didn’t feel like celebrating.  Since then, every year (and very gradually) companies have started celebrating the holidays again by throwing a party for their employees.  I am not sure they will ever be what they were for most corporations, but still, things are looking up.  The person in charge is now getting biggest bang for their buck and really tracking every penny spent.  You don’t have to spend millions of dollars to throw a holiday party that your employees will appreciate and enjoy.  You just have to spend your money wisely.

Decorating a Tent For a Winter Themed Event? Here Are Some Ideas!

Decorating a tent for a winter themed event can be fun and festive.  Whether your event is based around a holiday or a special occasion, a tent decorated with winter themed décor can be both breathtaking and beautiful.

Many people may not realize that a tent can be used in the winter.  Tents & Events will provide walls to the tent and heaters throughout to keep it warm and cozy for the guests.  A large white tent with high ceilings can provide an ambiance that is hard to achieve with a room indoors.  The white walls and ceilings of the tent provide the perfect backdrop for winter décor.  Adding strings of white twinkle lights around the tent adds a special feeling and a sense of intimacy.  The tent can be decorated in blue, white, silver, red, green, or any combination of those colors.  For example, using pale blue tablecloths, white flowers, silver and crystal accessories coupled with a blue signature drink will really give the tent and the event a wintery feel.  A large white high top tent is the perfect place to hold a winter wedding, shower, birthday party, anniversary, family reunion, family holiday party, or company holiday party.  Winter events can also feature a hot chocolate bar offering festive mugs and fun extras for your hot chocolate such as marshmallows, peppermint sticks, fresh whipped cream, and chocolate shavings.  Wintery themed desserts are also fun and easy to make, such as snowman cupcakes and homemade gingerbread men.

Benefits of a Clear-Top Tent

Tents not only come in all different shapes and sizes, but they also can be clear or solid white.  Clear-top tents can be very beneficial and serve as a perfect and beautiful retreat from the elements.

You have put a lot of time into planning a big event.  You would like the option of being outside, but perhaps it’s a little chilly outside or the weather forecast is calling for rain.   Clear-top tents are the perfect choice when you and your guests want coverage, but not shade.  They are a beautiful addition to an already shaded outdoor area.  They can also be used in the cooler weather when the warmth of the sun feels good and it will warm up the tent.  The clear-top tent allows your guests to still feel like they are out in the open as you can see the trees, sky, sun, clouds, and stars.  Decorated with simple white twinkle lights, it can be a magnificent sight for your guests.  Renting a tent in the fall or winter will give you outdoor space for entertaining.  Imagine an outdoor party in the fall.  The temperature is a little chilly and the leaves at their peak color.  A clear-top tent would be absolutely perfect for a day light this.  The guests will be warmed by the sun, and can enjoy all of the gorgeous colors that fall has to offer.
