Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to start planning some fun outdoor parties.  It may be a graduation party, family reunion, 4^th of July BBQ, birthday, or just a reason to get friends and family together.  There are lots of fun ideas for adults and kids to make your next party a huge success.

If your party is going to be during the day, you may want to consider renting a tent or canopy.  They come in many different sizes and it will make your guests much more comfortable if they can retreat to some shade.   Another great idea is to rent some machines to add some iconic summertime flare to your party; for example, popcorn machine, snow cone machine, cotton candy machine, or a hot dog vendor cart.  You can also rent a beverage fountain and have it running with a colored beverage that matches the theme of your party.  For example, if it’s a baby shower for a baby girl, then having a pretty pink beverage in the beverage fountain will add a fun and creative element to your party.  It will also cut down on the amount of plastic bottles and cans everywhere.  Another great idea is to rent a raffle drum.  If it’s a party for kids, you can purchase some summertime toys at the dollar store and hand out raffle tickets to the kids when it’s time for the raffle.  Just make sure there is enough for every child, and it can serve as their party favor.  “Winning” something means the world to kids and is much more fun than just receiving a goody bag at the end of the party.  It will also take up some time and keep the kids patient and seated for the duration of the raffle, which everyone can appreciate.
